Entry with the Go Blue Ridge Card
Grandfather Mountain is the highest peak in the Blue Ridge mountain range and a globally significant nature preserve. Guests drive to the summit where they cross the famous Mile High Swinging Bridge and thrill to 360-degree views of the surrounding region.
Seven animal habitats offer close-up views of native wildlife including bears, cougars, otters, and eagles in natural settings and an excellent museum interprets the mountain’s natural history. Other features include a restaurant and gift shops, picnic areas, walking trails, and challenging ridge-top hiking trails.
Guided hikes, naturalist programs, and behind-the-scenes tours available by reservation.
Note: Show your Go Blue Ridge Card at either of the drive-up ticket booths.
